Our Ladies

Zoriana comes from the now retired Jax Chihuahuas. I brought her home when she was 8 weeks old. She is an easy-going girl who loves to snuggle.

Zele is my feisty girl with that classic Chihuahua temperament!  Although she is registered with CKC, her pedigree goes back over ten years.  Zele is related to Lola, my first female Chihuahua that I bought in 2006.

Hazy is the new member of our family! She is still growing and in basic training right now.  We hope to train this girl for agility next year!

I brought Isla home so we could get back into dog sports. She is fearless! She loves to chase and play tug-O-War. Unfortunately, while my husband was carrying her out to potty-she wriggled her way out of his arms and fell. My husband is 6'5". She had fractured her wrist and paw in multiple spots and it took 6 months to heal.  A year later it was discovered that her shoulder was dislocated from that fall( This was missed). Although she will still runs like the wind, I thought it be best not to let her compete for the future.

I love this girl!  She is a quick learner. Cin is in basic training and we will be training her for weight pulling, agility and lure coursing in the future.

Lola (Applewood's Lola Chakita) was my first foundation female for Applewood Chihuahuas, established in 2006.  We welcomed Lilith (Applewood's Island Girl) in 2011, after we relocated to what's now our beautiful home in Florida.
